Trade Negotiations and Agreements

Namibia, as a member of the Southern African Customs Union (SACU) and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) is involved in a number of negotiations aimed at establishing preferential trade agreements. These agreements are aimed at economic growth by reducing barriers to trade, diversifying Namibia’s portfolio of export markets as well as promoting regional integration. By virtue of its membership to the National Negotiating Team, ATF is actively involved in these initiatives. This section provides information on all the trade negotiations and agreements.
